Train schedule from Ha Noi city

Train schedule from Ha Noi city to Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Dong Hoi, Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh
There are three railway stations in Ha Noi city.  They are Gia Lam railway station, Ha Noi railway station and Tran Quy Cap railway station.

Ha Noi railway station locates at 118 – 120 Le Duan street, Kham Thien ward, Dong Da district, Ha Noi. This is the biggest railway station and server for the Reunification train routes from North to South Vietnam. It is about 10 minutes driving from the Old Quarter to Ha Noi Railway train station and costs around 40.000 VND (~US$1.90) for one way transfer by a taxi 4 seater or 7 seater.

Tran Quy Cap railway station server for the train route Ha Noi – Lao Cai, it locates the other side of Ha Noi railway station. It is about 15 minutes driving from the Old Quarter to Tran Quy Cap Railway train station and costs around 49.000 VND (~US$1.90) for one way transfer by a taxi 4 seater or 7 seater.

Gia Lam Railway station server for local trains from Ha Noi to the places nearby. Tourist does not use local trains because it just has hard seats with fans provided.

If you are afraid to be sitting on bus from Ha Noi to Ha Long Bay near four hours driving. This train route gives you an excellent solution. Cu Chi Tunnel

Previously, Cu Chi Tunnel was both a strong base of Party Committee of Sai Gon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh Zone, and Headquarters of Sai Gon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh Military Zone. It was also an extremely varying battle deployment which already made no less contribution to fight the enemy, and the national unification.


The Relics of Cu Chi Tunnel are being preserved at Ben Duoc and Ben Dinh, about 70 km in the North - West of Ho Chi Minh city centre. Arriving at Cu Chi Tunnel, in addition to finding facts about the  Tunnel which well-known victories, tourists also visit those structures which simulate the former Liberated Area of Cu Chi during 1960 - 1975. They can also visit Ben Duoc Temple of Martyr Memorial to show gratitude to the heroes and martyrs who already sacrificed themselves to the cause of national liberation; visit the Temple's basement wherein there are displayed 9 spaces under the topic" The persistent and unconquerable people of Sai Gon- Cho Lon - Gia Dinh", visit the Forest of precious timber trees collected from the three regions of Vietnam; and other characteristic symbols such as: One-Pillar Pagoda (Ha Noi), Gate of Noon (Hue), Nha Rong Harbor (Southern Vietnam). Beside, visitors can take part in entertainment, recreation, and buy souvenir items in the cool, airy and fresh atmosphere; can submerge in the clear and blue water of the swimming pool designed separately and suitably to natural style; and enjoy the countryside specialties.


Cu Chi is an attractive place for sightseeing, and for gathering to review traditions, as well as an ideal place of picnic and camping for different groups, bodies, pupils and students.


Each year, there are more than one million tourists, domestic and overseas, who come to visit the tunnel, Ben Duoc Temple of Marty Memorial, as well as activities of traditional review and entertainment and recreation. Its growth rate is 12% to 15% per year. Cu Chi Tunnel becomes more and more perfect in its service style to meet the needs of visitors.

The Independence Palace Historical Relic

The Independence Palace (Reunification Palace) is one of the most interesting places in Ho Chi Minh city for domestic and foreign visitors.


The Palace constructed on July 1st 1962, inaugurated on Oct 31st 1966 on the ground of the Governor General of Indochina's Palace (designed by French in 1868). It was built within the area of 12 hectares and designed by architect Ngo Viet Thu, who won the Roman Grand Prize. It includes 4 main floors, 2 mezzanines, ground floor, and a basement.


After the inauguration, that Palace was the residence and working place of Mr. Nguyen Van Thieu - President of the Republic of Vietnam (October 1967 - April 21st, 1975). On April 30, 1975 the Liberation Army's tanks crashed through the main gate of the Palace and forced Mr. Duong Van Minh - President of the Republic of Vietnam to surrender unconditionally to the revolutionary government.


In November 1975, the Political Consultative Conference for the national reunification was  help in the Palace


On August 12th, 2009, it was recognized as a special National Historical relic by the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.


Nowadays, it is one of the most interesting places in Ho Chi Minh city for domestic and foreign visitors. Moreover, it is also the venue for government meetings, special events, receptions and banquet for Heads of state...

  • At 08.00 am, meeting our tour guide and driver at your hotel. Driven to Datanla waterfall which is about 12 km from Da Lat city center.

  • We start the trek through the pine forest down to the stream. The trek goes through the green jungle and offers to see as many as 7 waterfalls, some of them are good for swimming, so do not forget your swimming clothes.

  • We trek about 6 km along the stream, through the jungle and have to cross the stream a few times.

  • The morning hiking will take about 3 hours.

  • Transfer back to your hotel for changing clothes and meeting your motorbike driver at your hotel. Driving to Tuyen Lam Lake, take a sightseeing the beautiful scenery of Tuyen Lam Lake by  boat.

On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. After leaving the busy city of Ho Chi Minh City (Sai Gon), turning off the National Highway 20 leads visitors to a mountainous area full of roadside plantations of rubber and green coffee. A short, smooth 150 km bus ride takes visitors to a former volcanic crater, known as Lava tubes. Crossing the Dong Nai River to enter the Cat Tien National Park enables visitors begin their wildlife experience.
  • Afternoon, we do a three hour trekking to through the Reserved Core Area. We will see many kinds of hundreds of years old trees. Then return to the center for dinner. Highlight: Two-hour night cruise in to the jungle, in a jeep, allows visitor to enjoy the feelings of watching wild animals drinking and hearing the calls of rhinoceros. Overnight in Nam Cat Tien park.
Day 6: Nam Cat Tien National park – Da Lat (B/L/_)

Late afternoon we take a cyclo tour for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. The market is the chance for the minorities to meet and share joy and sorrows after the crops, to exchange one another’s experience. Say goodbye to the market and get down onto a boat along Chay river. You are bound to feel great and find yourselves smaller among high rock mountains and to be surprised at white and breathtakingly waterfalls. The Fairy Cave is located deeply in the rocks. Get off the boat to visit a village of the Tay Minority (TrungDo village) by the river. After the boat trip, visit a small town – Bao Nhai.

Cat Tien National Park  is an important national park located in the south of Vietnam. It was protected initially in 1978 as two sectors, Nam Cat Tien and Tay Cat Tien. Another sector, Cat Loc, was gazetted as a Rhinoceros Reserve in 1992 upon the discovery of a population of the Vietnamese Javan Rhinoceros, an occasion that brought the park into the world's eye. The three areas were combined to form one park in 1998.


The park also has impressive bird species including:




  • Red Junglefowl

  • Green peafowl

  • Siamese firebacks (although found elsewhere, these are especially easy to see in the park)

  • Germain's peacock-pheasant

  • Orange-necked partridge

  • The great, oriental pied and the wreathed hornbills

  • Bar-bellied, blue rumped, blue winged and other pittas

  • Broadbills: including the black & red, dusky and banded species

  • An endemic sub-species of the red-vented barbet

  • Grey-faced tit babbler

  • Woodpeckers: including pale-headed, white-bellied, black-and-buff, heart-spotted and the great slaty woodpecker

  • Lesser adjutant birds, various herons and egret species

  • Milky stork and the woolly-necked stork has also been reported in recent years

  • A wide variety of resident and migratory waterfowl; although recorded, white-winged ducks may no longer be present in the park

  • Birds of prey including osprey, lesser fish eagle, grey-headed fish eagle, crested serpent eagle, collared and other falconets.


Itinerary:


Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city – Cat Tien National park (Meal: Lunch & dinner)




  • At 08.00an, leaving the busy city of Ho Chi Minh City (former named Sai Gon), turning off the National Highway 20 leads visitors to a mountainous area full of roadside plantations of rubber and green coffee. A short, smooth 150 km  car rides  takes visitors to a former volcanic crater, known as Lava tubes. Crossing the Dong Nai River to enter the Cat Tien National Park enables visitors begin their wildlife experience.

  • After having lunch, meeting your local tour guide, we do a three hour trekking to through the Reserved Core Area. We will see many kinds of hundreds of years old trees. Then return to the center for dinner.

  • Highlight: Two-hour night cruise in to the jungle, in a jeep, allows visitor to enjoy the feelings of watching wild animals drinking and hearing the calls of rhinoceros.

  • Return to the center area of the park.

  • Overnight in Cat Tien park.


 Day 2: Cat Tien National park – Ho Chi Minh city (Meal: Breakfast & Lunch)




  • Visitors wake up to the nice songs of native birds. Breakfast prepares them for another four-hour trekking to see the Crocodiles swamp and back to the head quarter for lunch, transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

  • The tour ends at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city around 16.00.
