Phong Nha cave day trip


Phong Nha Cave is a cave in Phong Nha - Kẻ Bàng National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Quảng Bình province, Vietnam. It is 7,729 metres long and contains 14 grottoes, as well as a 13,969 metre underground river. While scientists have surveyed 44.5 kilometres of passages, tourists are only allowed to explore the first 1500 metres. It is the second biggest cave in Vietnam.



Phong Nha cave day trip

On the way, you will  pass DMZ of  Quang Trị, The Macnamara Line, 17 Parallel, Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge. On arrival Phong Nha, have lunch at restaurant.

  • Pm: After lunch, you will take a boat along Son River pass through river and forest to Phong Nha Caves and enjoy the wonderful sights of this cave. You will stop to visit Cung Dinh cave, Tien Cave and Bi Ky Cave with beautiful limestone formations. Return to Hue City.

  • Paradise cave day trip. Paradise Cave (Thien Duong Cave) is newly-discovered cave in Quang Binh Province. Its length is 31 km. The widest spot is about 150 meters. It brings a fantastic beauty that make tourists in Vietnam Tourism praise.



  • Departure: 6:15 – 6:30am & Finish: 19:30pm

All these are the creations of nature, only the 1100 meters wooden pathway through the cave was man - made. You will leave more 2 hours to explore the cave.

Bach Ma National park tour (Begins in Hue and ends in Hoi An)




Day 1:  Hue   – Bach Ma Nat’s (D)


  • Pm: At 12.00 am, our guide and driver pick up you at hotel and transfer you to Bach Ma National Park which far away 60km from Hue City on 1A National Highway. En the route, you will see the wonderful scenes with many green trees in two sides of road, villages are surrounded in a hedge of green bamboos, rice fields and near a beautiful river, cowboys, peasants and wingding streets with Cau Hai Lagoon that bring to you close feeling to nature and get more knowledge of Vietnam countryside.

  • On arrival Bach Ma Nat’s centre, you will be transferred to the top of Bach Ma Mountain. From the top of Bach Ma Mountain you can have the whole sight of  Lang Co Beach, Cau Hai Lagoon and the imposing of Bach Ma forest in the Green Corridor ranges from A Luoi to Bach Ma. At kilometer 15, you will trek to Five Lakes where you swim in the small romantic pools and fairy streams as well as the pure water in this forest. Within an hour walking, you have also chance to visit Do Quyen Waterfall - is astounding and huge in the wooded mountain. You will trek down 700 foot-steps to see the whole view of Do Quyen Waterfall and take wonderful pictures of the fall with the silver water running into the bright red of water-rail flowers. Here you also have a chance to admire the famous and very beautiful flower with the same name of the fall grows two sides of this waterfall.

  • After enjoying the amazing fall, you will go to the camping area in the forest to set up the tent where you have overnight.

Day 2: Bach Ma Nat’s – Da Nang – Hoi An (BL)

  • Am: In the morning, you will enjoy the beautiful sunrise scenery when standing on  and then trekking to explore Natural Trail to see many birds because Bach Ma National Park is the paradise for anyone who loves bird watching. You can see pigeons, bulbuls, parakeets, kingfishers, jungle fowl, etc.  You also see diversified fauna systems for more experience. Have breakfast at restaurant and then you will leave Bach Ma National Park for Hoi An. On the road, you will stop over Lang Co Beach – one of the most beautiful beaches in Asia- for more refreshment and relaxing, Hai Van pass for wonderful sight. Have lunch at restaurant

  • Pm: After lunch, you will visit Cham Museum in Da Nang where displays the whole culture and collections of Cham people in Vietnam to feel about legend stories of glorious stage of ancientChampa Kingdom and to enjoy its simple and elegant patterns.

  • Moreover, you will have chance to appreciate the up and down of Champa Sculpture in previous centuries by seeing temples and towers which were collected from Quang Binh to Binh Thuan, and visit Marble mountains which was named after the ancient oriental philosophy including 5 elements creating universe: metal, wood, water, fire and earth. Reaching here, you will see the systems of caves and tunnels which were used as a very important base for Vietnam Revolutionary.

Day 1: Hanoi - Laocai




  • 20 : 00 pm - Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and transfer to Hanoi railway station for boarding the Express Train to Laocai. Overnight in an air-conditioned soft sleeper wooden cabin.


Day 2: (Sunday): Lao Cai – Bac Ha market – Sapa ( B/ L/ D) 




  • Picked up at Laocai Railway Station then drive to BacHa market. The beginning of the day on which you visit a big market filled with many different hill - tribe peoples. This is the most colourful market in North Vietnam. At the market, you have chance to enjoy BacHa people's simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches... talking to the minorities through the guide's interpretation. Leave the market for the H'mong King's house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920. Return the town for lunch. In the afternoon, spend time visiting BanPho village. Say good bye to BacHa and get back to Sapa. On the way back, drop in to see the Vietnamese and Chinese Harbour Mouth in LaoCai.

  • The market is the chance for the minorities to meet and share joy and sorrows after the crops, to exchange one another's experience. Say goodbye to the market and get down onto a boat along Chay river. You are bound to feel great and find yourselves smaller among high rock mountains and to be surprised at white and breathtakingly waterfalls. The Fairy Cave is located deeply in the rocks. Get off the boat to visit a village of the Tay Minority (TrungDo village) by the river.

  • After the boat trip, visit a small town – Bao Nhai and then take jeep back to Laocai Station for the night train to Hanoi.

Day 1 (Friday) Sapa Town's Highlights -  Ta Phin Village (B/L/D)

  • After Breakfast your guide will show you around for a brief introduction of this charming town. At the market, ethnic minority people of different groups wearing their traditional costumes made by themselves comes every day selling local products includes vegetable, bamboo shoot, mushroom, medicinal herbs and souvenirs...there are chances to get intact and taking photos. Later you will follow the footsteps uphill to the top of Ham Rong Mountain for over viewing beautiful scenery of the town and surrounding area, paying visit to an orchard garden and a mini museum which tells you a lot about ethnic minority people living in Sa Pa and the northwest region.

  • After Lunch, transfer 14km to the center of Ta Phin valley, then you will enjoy an easy walk following village path, paying visit to some H'mong hamlets scattering from the bottom of the valley to higher mountain slopes. From high elevation, great view of the valley stretching under your foot. Continue your walk to the Red Zao village in which you will meet groups of women making handicrafts includes embroidered clothes, handbags...

  • Transfer back to Sa Pa in late afternoon and the rest hours is at your leisure.

Day 2 (Saturday) Tribal Village Exploration in Muong Hoa Valley (B/L/D)


  • Today you will spend the whole day exploring the spectacular Muong Hoa. A Jeep will take us out of the town, following the only road built on the side of a mountain range, looking down the valley, over viewing magnificent landscapes composed of high mountains, deep valleys, and stream of water winding, waterfalls and terraced rice paddies...Many time, leaving the main road, you will visit tribal villages such as Ta Van of the Zay, Su Pan of the Black H'mong, Ban Ho of the Tay...there are chances for meeting and contacting locals at home and at works. We leave Ban Ho in late afternoon for a drive back to Sapa.

  • Evening is at your leisure.

Day 3 (Sunday) Full day joining the famous Bac Ha Market (B/L/D)


  • Every day always begins very early in Vietnam. Especially on Sunday in Bac Ha. You will be waken up, having Breakfast and check out your hotel early before seven.

  • Leaving Sapa at 07.00 for a transfer 3 hours down hill to Lao Cai and later uphill to Bac Ha. As you get close to The market, you will see lot of Flower H'mong with their horses loading with selling's along the way. Arriving at the most crowded time of the market you will join some thousands local tribal peoples such as Flower H'mong, Tay, Zao and Phu La who are in their colorful traditional dresses shoping, talking, enjoying food...The most colorful part is clothes section while the most interesting ones probably the food stalls and animal market. Be noted that the small animals such as chicken, piggy... are sold in narrow ground at the main market place but buffaloes, horses market lies about 3 hundred meters away near the main motor way.

  • Some hours getting excited with the market activities and festive atmosphere, Lunch will be served in a local restaurant with set menu and you may try H'mong home made corn wine.

  • Afternoon will be highlighted with a short walk around Ban Pho Village of the Flower H'mong and Tay peoples which includes some small hamlets set amongst lush plump gardens, terraced paddies and mountain back drops for a local breath. Then transfer to Laocai station for boarding the night train to Hanoi.

Day 1 (Tuesday) Lao Cai - Cao Son  Market (B/L/D)


  • Upon arrival to Lao Cai station early morning, you will meet your local tour guide and driver and enjoy breakfast in a restaurant nearby. Freshen up and heading along the road to Muong Khuong district which weaves its way up and down hills of the tea plantation and pine trees. It gets wilder and greener with thick forest and small tribal villages scattering isolated on slopes of the mountains as you get close to Cao Son Commune. You will enjoy much of the scenery which is marvelous and changes very fast after every bend. Arriving in Cao Son almost at noon, checking in the Lodge where you will stay overnight, take a rest or wandering around breathing fresh air.

Day 2 (Wednesday) Cao Son Market -Sapa (B/L/D)


  • Today is the market day in Cao Son and you will spend the whole morning to take part in this weekly event. The village seems to wake up after a week staying peacefully. People from different tribal groups such as H'mong, Zao, Nung, Pa Di, Tu Di...wearing their traditional costumes converge to the market place on foot, motorcycles and horses. Many comes from remote villages, near the border and have to start their journey even from midnight. Joining the market, you will soon get the feeling of local, cheerful faces every where. Commodities for sale at the market is rich, from home produces such as fruit, vegetable, chili, ginger, smelled medicinal herbs, mushroom, bamboo shoot, corn wine, local handicraft, animals includes pigs, chicken, dogs, cats... to farming tools as hoes, plough shares, spades, knives...

  • You are leaving the market and Cao Son after Lunch for a drive to Lao Cai and then uphill to Sapa through a scenic region. Arriving in Sapa at your hotel in the afternoon and the rest of the day is set free for you to wander around charming Sapa town. Overnight in Sapa.


Day 3 (Thursday) Sapa Tribal Village walk to Ma Tra & Ta Phin (B/L/D)


  • Lying on the south of Sa Pa town, this vast valley composes of 3 chambers surrounded by high mountains with thick forest at the top and terraced rice paddies from lower slopes stretching to the bottom. It is home to the Black H'mong and the Red Zao ethnic minority who live in wooden houses scattering here and there.

  • Starting from Sa Pa with your guide, you will follow a trail running through fruit and orchard gardens, lush pine forests to a Black Hmong ethnic minority village named Matra, isolated away from the civilization. Chickens, water buffalos, pot - belly pigs and piggy everywhere, some locals will be happy to invite us to their home which offers chances to see their dwellings, weavings on belly looms to makes traditional costumes out of hemp fiber...Our path weaves itself up and down hills, through valleys with terraced rice fields which create spectacular landscapes. After picnic Lunch, we get to Ta Phin Commune where the Black H'mong and the Red Zao live together. It is very interesting to realize culture assimilation: Which can be mixed, which can not! At the end of the footpath, our Jeep is waiting for us for the return journey to Sapa.

Day 4 (Friday) Visit Lao Chai & Ta Van Village (B/L)


  • Today morning, you will explore the spectacular Muong Hoa. A Jeep will take us out of the town, following the only road built on the side of a mountain range, looking down the valley, over viewing magnificent landscapes composed of high mountains, deep valleys, and stream of water winding, waterfalls and terraced rice paddies...walking trail can be seen clearly from the road winding up and down hills on the other side of Muong Hoa River to connect village to villages...

  • Our suggested walk starts from Lao Chai village of the H'mong along the river to Ta Van, the Zay village. Our Jeep will pick us up at Ta Van Bridge and drive back to Sa Pa at noon.

Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu Tam Coc tour 1 day



  • Hoa Lu and Tam Coc are two of the most beautiful landscapes of Ninh Binh province, just 120 kms to the southeast of Hanoi. Hoa Lu was the ancient Royal capital during the Dinh and Pre-Le dynasties which lasted for 41 years (from 969-1009). In comparison with Hoa Lu’s cultural significance, Tam Coc is considered as “Ha Long Bay” in land because its location and formation. Sitting on boat cruising through Hang Ca, Hang Hai, Hang Ba with the scenic beauty of huge rocks standing along river and scattered green rice fields. You feel the tranquility, peace and all above, the nature combines with life of locals to form a poetic romantic painting of the countryside.


Itinerary:

Communication exchange with local people in Lao Chai village then continuing walking through villages and rice terraced fields to Ta Van village settled by Dzay ethnic. The pagoda itself is built into limestone cliffs and can only be reached by boat and foot, as there are no roads into this area. You will glide along scenic waterways and walk up steep mountain paths visiting the pagodas and temples that were built in this area over the last centuries.


Itinerary:

  • 7.45 am, We pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter and depart for the Perfume Pagoda.

  • 10.00 am, Arrival at the Perfume Pagoda. After a scenic hour and a half boat ride along The Yen stream

  • It is time for you to relax and enjoy the rural stunning scenery on the cable car up to the Huong Tich Cave, which houses the Pagoda of the Perfume Vestige.

Vietnam train tour begins from Ha Noi capital

Day 1 : Ha Noi – Ninh Binh  - Tam Coc – Bai Dinh pagoda (L)


  • Morning, our driver pick you up at your hotel and transfer to the railway station for boarding the day train SE7 to Ninh Binh (06.15am – 08.29am). You have chances to view the landscapes along the railway sides in early morning. Arrive to the train station. Meeting your tour guide and driver. Start your sightseeing for a visit and offered incense at Bai Dinh pagoda. This is a complex of temples known for many Vietnam record are established as the largest temple area, the largest bronze Buddha statue, the temple has many statues and most Arhat most Bodhi.

  • Proceed to Tam Coc, we take sampans to visit Tam Coc, which is literally known “ Three Caves” First Cave is the longest one which is considered a real rainbow in the water in the morning time stretching on both sides of the Ngo Dong River. The quiet movements of the oars create a sort of musical rhythm inside the cave. As the boat leaves the cave, you can see what seems to be an old man with a white breard fishing, fairy flying in the clouds, peasants collecting fuel and a group of white goats grazing on the hills. Then we move to the Second Cave and the Third Cave.

 Day 2: Trang An – Dong Hoi (B/_/_)


  • Following breakfast at your hotel. Meeting your tour guide at 7.00am at your hotel for visit Trang An. Trang An is an area of ​​our country, clouds swirled.   • Then driven to Paradise cave which is about 30 minutes driving from Phong Nha caves. you will have a chance to see Paradise Cave which is a dry cave and appreciated the most stunning cave in Phong Nha Caves System because of its size and unique making a deep impression for the visitors. After going 2000 meters on transferring by golf car through the old forest with many kinds of valuable and rare of plants you will have an opportunity to discover the Cave with its great structure and the stalactites and stalagmites inside. All these are the creations of nature, only the 1100 meters wooden pathway through the cave was man - made. You will leave more 2 hours to explore the cave. Proceed to Hue city by car. Arrival to the city around 6.00pm.

Stop on the way to see how conical hats and incense sticks are made.

  • In the afternoon, visit Imperial capital during Nguyen Dynasty and the seven – storey Thien Mu Pagoda on the riverbank. Return by boat on the gentle Perfume River and do not miss the sunset on the river.

Daily tour - Cuc Phuong National Park

  • Active and close to nature in awe inspiring landscapes during this 2 day trip. An ideal combination of sightseeing, physical challenges and a genuine nature experience - from the peaceful countryside of Tam Coc, the Emperors’ temples of Hoa Lu to the fascinating natural of Cuc Phuong National Park. You'll embark on a tour through the gorgeous scenery and pristine landscapes of Ninh Binh province for the most exceptional locations for photos, wildlife viewing, and nature walks.


 


Day 1: Hanoi – Tam Coc – Hoa Lu - Cuc Phuong Park (L, D)


  • Am: From 8h00, be picked up at your hotel for 2.5 hours drive south of Hanoi to Tam Coc, where we stop at a local restaurant and start cycling around. You would be guided through villages, lush rice fields and rocky outcrops (rice harvesting time: May and Sep) until lunch at the local restaurant with scenic view over the river.




  • Pm: We take a sampan ride along a river, just relax and enjoy the sensation of being gently paddled by hand in a little boat. Lose yourself in this unique experience, along a stretch of blue-green river, and marvel at dancing water refractions under the coolness of passing Tam Coc (three caves).

  • Upon arrival back in the boat dock, drive to Hoa Lu – Vietnam capital city (968 – 1009) for the King Dinh and Le Temples as well as ancient citadel traces. Keep driving through a fascinating limestone area to Cuc Phuong Park.

  • Diner and overnight in the park headquarter.



Day 2: Cuc Phuong Park - Hanoi (B, L)


  • Am:  Awake gently and savour the early morning sounds of the surrounding forest and the singing of gibbons in nearby Rescue Center. Have breakfast then drive to the Cave of Prehistoric man, where human skeletons and stone tools there dated back to 7.500 years old. Keep driving into the forest (20km) then start hiking up loop trail (7 km) to see the 1000 years old tree, discover the secrets of nature.




  • Pm: After lunch, we visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre – one of the highlights of Cuc Phuong Park, where we will observe a home to more than 140 primates in 15 species, including six species which are kept only at the EPRC and in no other facility in the world. Afterwards, leave the park for Hanoi.



  • Trip ends at your hotel around 17h00.
